District 7 Members,

I want to take a moment to acknowledge the concerns many of us are feeling in response to

the recent Executive Order that impacts DEI programs. I understand that these changes

have brought about uncertainty, and I want to assure you that we will face these challenges

together as one team.

While we have been directed to eliminate Diversity programs and remove references to

Diversity & Inclusion from our websites and materials, it’s important to emphasize that all

other missions and programs will continue. Training events, RBS activities, newsletter

production, and other activities that align with the Executive Order and its directives are

unaffected and will proceed as planned.

We are: 20 thousand members serving our nation and our communities in 980 local units. As of June 30, 2025, we have contributed 50 million hours this year in support of the U.S. Coast Guard, including in the classroom, at the ramp & pier, and operating 295 vessels, 109 aircraft and 490 radio facilities

What is the mission of the Coast Guard Auxiliary?

The Coast Guard Auxiliary’s primary mission is to contribute to the safety and security of citizens, ports, waterways, and coastal regions. This involves a combination of recreational boating safety efforts, Coast Guard support, and contributing to homeland security.
