We are: 20 thousand members serving our nation and our communities in 980 local units. As of June 30, 2025, we have contributed 50 million hours this year in support of the U.S. Coast Guard, including in the classroom, at the ramp & pier, and operating 295 vessels, 109 aircraft and 490 radio facilities

What is the mission of the Coast Guard Auxiliary?

The Coast Guard Auxiliary’s primary mission is to contribute to the safety and security of citizens, ports, waterways, and coastal regions. This involves a combination of recreational boating safety efforts, Coast Guard support, and contributing to homeland security.
