Please see the recent ALCOAST on the elimination of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I)\u00a0programs.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Effective immediately, any references to Diversity & Inclusion must be purged an\u00a0archived from any materials. These include, but are not limited to, websites, printed\u00a0<\/span>materials, training materials, presentations, videos, links, and email signatures.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Renaming of D&I programs and activities to disguise them by using coded or\u00a0<\/span>imprecise language is not authorized. As such, references to \u201caffinity groups\u201d, \u201ctotal\u00a0<\/span>workforce optimization\u201d, and other such designators must be avoided.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. All D&I awards at all levels, including the NACO Three-Star Award for Excellence in\u00a0<\/span>Diversity and Inclusion, must be discontinued and all references to these awards\u00a0<\/span>removed from unit websites and materials.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. All removed materials should be archived, not deleted. Units should designate an\u00a0<\/span>archivist to accomplish this task.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Until further notice, all social media activity for all unit accounts needs to be frozen.\u00a0<\/span>The only exception is for purely operational and routine content. Anything related to\u00a0<\/span>the Executive Orders, the President\u2019s Agenda, or upcoming events is not permitted.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
